Austin's fashion-forward has made Blue Genie Art Bazaar their yearly pilgrimage since 2001. From Monday, November 18 through Monday, December 24, you may do all your holiday shopping in one convenient location for locally made goods. Blue Genie is your one-stop shop for all your needs, whether it be groceries, jewellery, or clothing.
Traditional German Christmas Market in Texas
The German-Texan Market will be held from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 3. Drink some hot spiced wine (Glühwein) and peruse the wares of the local sellers as you explore the historic German Free School Association Building. Members of the German-Texan Heritage Society get in free, but non-members must pay $5 to attend.
Christmas Market of the Lone Star Farmers
Those who enjoy shopping at farmer's markets will find the Farmer Market a true delight. Local, one-of-a-kind items for everyone on your list will be available at this weekly event, which takes place on Sundays from November 27 through December 18. As if that weren't enough, some of Austin's best wines and breweries will also be present at this shopping event. Parking is free, and there's no need for tickets.
Advent Market with Armadillos
The Armadillo Christmas Bazaar has been Austin's go-to holiday celebration since 1976, when it opened its doors to the public. The Palmer Events Center is home to this yearly event. Celebration hours for this year are from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., December 17 through the 23rd.
Admission is $12, but if you want to ensure you get all the holiday fun, a season pass may be purchased for $49. If you're missing Texas this holiday season but can't be there in person, you can still get into the spirit with a few clicks.
Vintage Goods Available Citywide
Look no further than the City Wide Vintage Sale to satisfy your vintage gift-hunting needs this holiday season. At the Palmer Events Center, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on December 10 and 11, you may do some holiday shopping. The City Wide Vintage Sale has been held monthly since 1977, and in December of each year, it features a unique selection of Christmas goods. All children under 12 go in for free, while adults pay $12.
A Flea Market for Soco Producers
Visit South Congress on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for the Soco Makers Market. Everything from groceries to jewellery can be found at this locally focused retail centre. Each vendor at the Soco Makers Market also offers online buying in case you cannot make it to the market in person.
Triple Z Threadz
Triple Z Threadz is the only store that perfectly encapsulates the unique vibe that permeates all of Austin. You've probably noticed their fashionable and distinctive embroidered pearl snaps all over your Instagram feed, but that's not all they offer!
